Artists of Sea Pines will open “Pasture to Palette,” an exhibition inspired by Lawton Stables, with a public reception Oct. 28 at the Sea Pines Community Center Gallery.
The exhibition, presented in collaboration with Lawton Stables, will feature works depicting horses, other animals at the stables, the surrounding landscape and trail rides through the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.
The opening reception will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the gallery, 71 Lighthouse Road at The Shops at Sea Pines. Admission is free.
Jazz trio Sharp Five will perform during the reception, and light food and beverages will be served.

Bellion will donate one of his original works for a drawing during the opening reception.
The exhibition will include artwork depicting Lawton Stables and its surroundings, including horses, resident farm animals, live oaks and trail rides. Original works by Artists of Sea Pines members will be available for purchase.
Member artists donate a portion of their gallery sales to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.
